About Faith
As a lifelong Nature enthusiast, I find joy in the quiet rhythms of Mother Nature and the wild beauty of the natural world. I live along the Texas coast near Houston, where salt air, shifting tides, and native blooms shape my days.
Native plants hold a special place in my heart. I’m endlessly inspired by their many gifts—whether edible, medicinal, or traditional uses as dyes and fibers. I love taking macro photos of wild blooms and leaves, finding beauty in the often-overlooked details that tell their own quiet stories. This always reminds me that the smallest parts of Nature often carry the greatest wonder.
Forgotten Language
Once I spoke the language of the flowers,
Once I understood each word the caterpillar said,
Once I smiled in secret at the gossip of the starlings,
And shared a conversation with the housefly in my bed.
Once I heard and answered all the questions of the crickets,
And joined the crying of each falling dying flake of snow,
Once I spoke the language of the flowers….
How did it go?
How did it go?by Shel Silverstein
I am a huge cat lover and share my home with several kitty companions, whose quirky personalities always provide amusement. There’s always at least one (Pixxie) curled up in my lap while I read. Whether I’m observing the ebb and flow of the tides or lost in a good book, my love for the world around me is reflected in my work, inviting readers to see the beauty in both the grand and the small. Look down around your feet while outside — you may be surprised by the tiny parts of Nature you can observe.
Combining a love for Nature with a passion for organization, I created my books to help fellow journalers capture their experiences and reflect on the beauty of Nature. Each book is both a practical tool and a celebration of the living landscape — a place to dream, document, and dig deep.

The Cats in Our Family
Everyone in my family is a cat lover (except maybe my dad — there’s no accounting for taste) and treats them as another person in our family — albeit a furry midget one. At least I’m not the shortest 😉 I am going to add some pictures of our current kitties soon, just need to gather them up.
